Don’t be so negative!

Cody teens finally learned why every pack of crayons includes a white one at Teen Tuesdays — who knew you could use the white crayon to make awesome negative-space water color paintings?!?

If you are just super bummed that you missed the fun, don’t be blue – you can make your very own painting at home! Just grab a white crayon or two and draw whatever your heart desires on a piece of white paper (extra points if you have fancy-pants watercolor paper, but any thick paper will work just fine). When you’re done, paint over the whole paper with water colors — the waxy crayons will keep the paint from sticking where you’ve drawn. Viola — white crayon magic!
