A Haunting Opportunity

I’m trying to scare you into volunteering.

So if you didn’t already know, Teen Services is a little….unconventional. That is, to say, we’re not a “normal” library enviroment. We have parties, we make crafts on, we read comics, we play music, we watch movies, we have our own instruments, and we make an insane amount of noise. But this October, we’re taking things a little further-

We’re having our own Haunted House.

Yeah, you read that right. A Haunted House. Teen Services at Central Library will be transformed into a loud, dark, creepy walk through of horrors. We’re pretty excited. It’s going to be one of the biggest and most exciting things that have happened here.

We want to get you guys excited too. See, we need volunteers to make this happen. That’s where you come in. You can be in the Haunted House, scaring and guiding people through it! You can help us make the props, walls, costumes, and decorations! You can help set up! You can help tear down! (Are all my exclamation points letting you know how excited I am? !!!)

If you want to help, then please, please sign up. If you don’t want to help, sign up anyway. If you’re completely neutral about helping, sign up. If you have a love/hate relationship with helping…well, you get the point.

To sign up : Call us at 207.2678, get in touch with us on Facebook at 210teenlibrary, or you can just stop by and ask for the sign-up sheet! It’s so easy, and even working for a few hours would be a huge help.

The EXTREMELY INCREDIBLY EXCITED Central Teen Volunteer Megan ^w^
