Teen Review: “The Challenge” by Ridley Pearson

Steel Trapp, nicknamed for his photographic memory, is on a train headed to the National Science Competition in Washington, D.C., when he runs into a dangerous plot. Combining his skills with those of a girl he meets, also headed to the competition, the team tries to unravel the puzzle and stop anything bad from happening. The mystery grows deeper and may be closer to Steel than he may think. This kind of work just might be in his blood. In the first book of the “Steel Trapp” series, there is enough action and mystery to keep you entertained throughout the whole book. If you have a gift like that, isn’t it your duty to use it for good?
