Cool teens club May 21st.
Last Wednesday, all of the teens painted ceramic eggs with water colour paints. It’s always fun to see how creative everyone gets when we have arts and crafts projects, a lot of people don’t think they’re creative but I believe everyone is, and can be, creative. I think all you have to do is just try and not over think it, just let the ideas flow. I know some people may think that’s silly, but some people can be creative without even meaning to be. So if you think you aren’t creative, or good at things involving arts and crafts, don’t get yourself down. As many people have told me “Practice makes perfect” of course, there really isn’t such a thing as “perfection” but I believe if you keep trying you’ll succeed eventually, just put your mind to it, relax, and let the ideas flow. Even if you think your idea isn’t that great of an idea, don’t throw it away immediately, later on you might realize it’s actually a great idea. I know a lot of artists are really hard on themselves, and they think almost everything they make is horrible. But I don’t really think there is such a thing as “bad art” except in terms of offensive art. I don’t mean nudity or profanities, I mean just really offensive art that hurts and offends people. Anyways, I could go on and on about art, but now isn’t the time. So after everyone painted a ceramic egg, we all went outside to warm up some pita bread and put toppings inside of the bread. It was a really delicious, and nice simple snack. That’s about it, it was a really fun and nice night at Landa. Until next time! 🙂
