Teen Review: ‘Wild Rover No More” by L.A. Meyer
“Wild Rover No More: Being the Last Recorded Account of the Life and Times of Jacky Faber” finally wrapped this phenomenal series up in its final (twelfth) book. Jacky and Jamie’s paths have just missed yet again, thanks to the revenge of one Miss Clarissa Worthington Howe. And just as the star-crossed lovers are setting things right once and for all, the horrible Flashby frames Jacky, forcing her to run yet again from the authorities while her dear friends try to sort things out. Jacky starts out hiding as a governess, but when her mail is intercepted, she must run away with the circus. Can the infamous Jacky Faber find a way out of this mess and end up with her love, or will her luck finally run short? This book wrapped things up nicely. Despite being sad to see Jacky go, I was happy with the ending.
